JOB DESCRIPTION

Title for this role specifically is "Procurement Analyst"
The Procurement analyst executes sourcing strategies to manage/mitigate EMI China tariffs, EOL material management and constrained market supply issues. for the assigned site(s) and / or categories as defined by the EMS Global category manager and other EMI Category managers. The assigned scope typically involves:
* Procurement core team member of the tariff mitigation team at all the 3 business units: MMS, BDB and BDDS
* Develop quote packages, negotiate avoidance and manage commercial engagements with tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers
* Develop/manage weekly tracking updates and create executive updates in close collaboration the EMI procurement directors
* Manage/track all activities related to electronics constrained market management and support procurement managers to implement mitigation strategies
* Work closely with the EMS GCMs, procurement analytics and third party market research to proactively manage EOL component plans.
Implementation activities generally include request for quotes, supplier negotiation and overall project management, procurement aspects of supplier qualification and risk mitigation programs.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for customer relationships with stakeholders for assigned categories and / or sites, and handles a wide range of two-way communication with and in support of site procurement that arises in the course of implementation, while demonstrating close collaboration and alignment with category group leaders and global and regional strategic sourcing managers.
Performance is measured against developing sound mitigation strategies and achieving agreed upon plans with the Business units.

Education/Experience:
Minimum five years of relevant procurement experience.
Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree is a plus
