The Information Technology Project Management Office (IT PMO) is responsible for providing the project leadership, strategic consulting, and process predictability required to obtain the maximum business value from client portfolio of IT projects and programs. We manage the planning and execution of client highest priority programs and projects, organize and curate the master portfolio of work, and cultivate a high-performing culture through building trust and ownership.
A fresh perspective and a willingness to dig into problem areas is both encouraged and expected. The IT PMO organization is staffed with individuals with a huge array of leadership experience both inside and outside of the technology sector, all of which are glued together by a shared desire to take part in solving difficult problems.
As a client Project Manager you are part of a team of professionals who plan, perform and implement projects, programs and process improvement initiatives within the Information Technology space. As a subject matter expert, you will utilize your strong project and program management experience to positively contribute to the department’s goals and vision. Strong communication skills, along with strong command over business processes are key to success in this role.
o Lead projects related to IT and Business systems and processes.
o Plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives.
o Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
o Determine project cost, resource requirement, and project timing based on scope and complexity of the project.
o Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
o Collect data to identify root cause of problems.
o Measure performance against process requirements
o Align improvement to performance shortfalls.
o Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
o Survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes.
o Develop and create corporate communications plans to affected stakeholders.
o Perform cost and benefit analyses.
o Provide mentorship, training and support for junior Project/Program Managers.
o The tasks this individual is responsible for are often unstructured, have wide implications and there are multiple outcomes.
o This individual will apply broad expertise or unique technical/industry knowledge in solving problems that are unique and extremely complex given time, budget and resource constraints.
o Demonstrate leadership and vision in determining and driving strategy decisions.
o This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.
o Limited supervision is provided, as this individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently.
o The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor.

o Often acts as mentor or facilitator.
o Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
